Custom kraft boxes give you an uncoated brown finish that reads natural without looking cheap. We cut them to your product's exact dimensions, print them in full color, and build them from recycled kraft stock that ships flat and folds fast at your packing bench. Soap, candles, granola, jewelry, handmade goods: kraft carries all of it. If your buyer cares what happens to the box after they open it, this is the material to start with.
Buyers move to custom kraft boxes for weight first. Kraft paper weighs less than coated board, and that matters on every parcel you pay dimensional weight for. It also holds shape, so a 350 GSM kraft carton takes stacking pressure in a warehouse without bowing at the corners.
Pick the shape first, then the print.
Nothing here fits? Send dimensions. We cut a fresh die-line rather than force your product into a stock template.
Brown board drinks ink differently than white SBS, so colors land warmer. We correct for that at proof stage before anything runs. Flexography suits long runs, digital suits short reorders, screen printing handles bold single-color logos, and offset wins when artwork detail matters.
Finishes that change how the box feels in hand:
Foil is the one we push hardest. Metallic against uncoated brown does more for perceived value than any coating, and it costs less than moving the whole order to rigid boxes.
Small kraft boxes start near 2 x 2 x 1 inches for samples and jewelry. Medium sits around 3.5 x 2.5 x 1.25 inches. Large runs 4 x 4 x 3 inches and up. Custom sizing works from your product footprint and fill height, so nothing rattles.
Movement breaks products. An insert costs little and saves you a replacement shipment.
Structural design runs in-house at Orbix Packaging, so die-line errors surface before the press run instead of after 5,000 units. MOQs stay low enough for a first order and step down as volume grows. Every run clears pre-press, post-print, and pre-shipment checks, then ships with an inspection report attached.
We hold custom kraft boxes alongside the rest of our custom packaging boxes, so a mixed order ships on one pallet. Request a wholesale quote with your artwork and we send a physical sample before production starts.
Yes. Our kraft stock is 100% recyclable and biodegradable. We also run compostable options and soy-based inks when you flag sustainability requirements at quote stage.
Yes. We print full CMYK, Pantone matches, and white ink on natural kraft. We also stock black kraft board when you want a darker base.
For transit we build E-flute or B-flute corrugated with a kraft liner. Folding cartons at 300 to 450 GSM suit retail shelves rather than carrier handling.
Kraft skips the bleaching stage, so it keeps more fiber strength and stays brown. White cardboard prints brighter but gives up some tear resistance.
Yes. We supply food-grade kraft with approved liners for direct contact with bakery items, snacks, and dry goods. Tell us the food type when you request a quote.
Get wholesale packaging from Orbix Packaging: send your product dimensions, quantity, and artwork, and we come back with a sample plan the same working day.
Kraft uses longer unbleached fibers, so it tears less and holds shape under compression. Standard white board looks cleaner but gives up strength at the same weight.
Apparel, soap, candles, coffee, cosmetics, and dry food all sit well in kraft. It suits brands whose buyers respond to a natural, unbleached look.
Standard sizes ship faster and fit common products. Die-cut works when your item has an odd shape or you want a locking insert that stops movement.
Yes. Digital printing handles variable data, so each box can carry a different name, number, or QR code across the same run.
Add 15 to 20mm clearance around the product on every side, then fill that gap with a die-cut insert. Tight boxes crack, loose boxes let items rattle.
Rigid boxes use thick greyboard wrapped in printed paper and arrive assembled. Folding cartons ship flat, save warehouse space, and suit high volume retail runs.
Keep them flat, off the floor, and away from humidity. Kraft absorbs moisture and warps, so a dry pallet rack beats a damp back room.
We pack flat blanks on shrink-wrapped pallets with corner protection. Check the pallet before signing, and open one bundle to confirm print and board on arrival.
