Terms and Conditions

Agreement to Terms

Welcome to Orbix Packaging. These Terms and Conditions cover your use of this website and any custom packaging, printing, or design services you order through us. If you browse the site or place an order, you've accepted these terms, along with any guidelines posted for specific products.

We can update this page without notice, so check back before placing a new order if it's been a while.

Copyright

Every bit of text, every image, every layout and design file on this site belongs to Orbix Packaging and is protected under copyright law. You can't copy or republish any of it without written permission.

Your Artwork and Trademarks

Whatever you upload for your order — logos, photos, text, brand marks — it's your responsibility to make sure you own it or have permission to use it. This includes trademarks and any third-party content you did not create.

Placing an order confirms your artwork does not infringe on anyone's rights and authorizes Orbix Packaging to print and produce your packaging from the files provided.

Customer-Submitted Content

We do not check every upload for accuracy, so files, images, and specifications you provide remain your responsibility. We may remove content that violates these terms or applicable laws.

Orders placed under your account are your responsibility, whether placed by you or someone with account access. Submitting files grants Orbix Packaging permission to use and reproduce that content only for processing and fulfilling your order.

Design Files

Design files are provided at standard web resolution — 72 DPI. If you need higher-resolution files for another purpose, contact our support team for available options.

Submitting Your Own Artwork

Artwork should be supplied in CMYK format with a minimum resolution of 300 DPI. This ensures sharp printing results.

Color changes during RGB-to-CMYK conversion or blurry output caused by low-resolution artwork are the responsibility of the submitted file.

Proofing and Approval

Every order requires approval of the final artwork proof and specification sheet before production begins. Review all details carefully, including delivery dates, dimensions, materials, and artwork placement.

Once approval is provided, production will follow the approved specifications. Customers are responsible for checking spelling, layout, colors, and positioning before approval.

Screen proofs confirm layout and text placement but cannot guarantee exact color reproduction. For precise color matching, a physical hardcopy proof should be requested before production.

Lamination and finishing processes may slightly affect printed colors, and exact color retention cannot be guaranteed after finishing.

Materials

Standard paper and card stock used for printing are not considered food-grade unless specifically requested. If your project requires food-safe materials, this must be communicated in writing before production begins.

What We're Not Liable For

Orbix Packaging is not responsible for errors caused by customer-provided files, including:

  • Incorrect graphics placement or font selections.
  • Spelling, grammar, or punctuation mistakes in submitted artwork.
  • Die cuts, folds, or slits matching approved specifications.
  • Finished dimensions based on approved files.
If the approved artwork contains an error, the approved file will be considered the final production reference.

Color Accuracy

We reproduce colors as closely as possible according to submitted artwork. Exact color matching is only guaranteed when a physical hardcopy proof is ordered before production.

Color reproduction is guaranteed within 90% accuracy of the approved proof. Minor differences between digital screens and printed products are normal in both offset and digital printing.

Indemnity

If any dispute, claim, or expense occurs because you violated these terms or submitted content that you did not have permission to use, you agree to cover Orbix Packaging for related legal costs and damages.

Cancelling an Order

Orders may be cancelled before shipment. Cancellation charges depend on the production stage:

Production Stage Cancellation Terms
Order Placed $15 plus 5% of order total for processing and design fees.
Design / Prepress Stage Minimum 20% deduction for completed design work.
Production Stage Cancellation is not guaranteed and may include minimum 50% charges.
Shipped Order Cannot be cancelled once shipped.

Design service orders are non-refundable once placed.

Returns and Reprints

Because every order is custom manufactured, all sales are final. Refunds or credits are not provided except in cases where Orbix Packaging confirms a production error.

If a mistake occurs from our production process, we will provide a replacement reprint at no additional cost.

  • Return at least 99% of received quantity.
  • Returns must be completed within 10 days of delivery.
  • Written authorization is required before returning any items.
  • Rush printing and expedited shipping fees are non-refundable.
